Job Description
Join a dynamic team as a Mechanical Designer for a major construction project focused on multiple data centers. You will regularly utilize Building Information Modeling (BIM) to draft and assemble design components, including circulatory piping. Your role involves reviewing blueprints to determine customer requirements and consulting with assemblers regarding schematics. You will also collaborate with engineers to discuss and interpret design concepts and determine detailed work requirements.
Responsibilities- Use BIM to draft and assemble design components.
- Review blueprints to identify customer requirements.
- Consult with assemblers regarding schematics.
- Collaborate with engineers to interpret design concepts.
- Determine detailed work requirements.
- 2 years of experience with Revit.
- 2 years of experience with BIM.
- Experience in electrical and mechanical design.
- HVAC design knowledge.
Skills & Qualifications
- 1.5 years of experience with Revit.
- 3 years of AutoCAD drafting/designing in the mechanical/electrical MEP industry.
- Degree preferred, but not required.
- 1 year of experience in electrical design.
You will be working on a large construction site in a well-equipped trailer office setup with access to the latest software. The dress code is casual, allowing jeans, shirts, and shoes, fostering a relaxed yet deadline‑driven environment. Work hours are from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.
Pay & BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $75,000.00 - $85,000.00/hr.
