Position: Dev Ops Engineer with Security Clearance
TEKsystems is seeking a Snr Engineer for a role in a Dev Ops/agile environment to support a large government program in Bellevue NE. The successful candidate will work within a cross-functional team to provide hands-on experience designing, installing, configuring, monitoring and maintaining enterprise systems. Candidates will also support the shift to cloud frameworks for some enterprise functionality.

Clearance Required:

Secret at a minimum Requirements:
Dev Ops engineer with cloud focus.
Python exp
Containers and orchestration – dockers or Kubernetes
Cloud technologies- AWS is the primary environment but open to other experience
Storage management – S3 or MiniO
Logging and monitoring - exp with Splunk
Authentication approaches
Config management tools – Git Hub/Git Lab
Looking for candidates with cross functional team mentality and team collaboration
• Bachelor s degree in an Information Technology discipline or equivalent experience

• 5 years’ experience working in a system administration or similar role

• Advanced knowledge of one or more operating systems such as Linux Red Hat Windows, or AIX, Networking, Security

• Experience with infrastructure automation approaches and tools such as Ansible and Terraform

• Experience working with container-based approaches

• Familiarity with cloud computing such as AWS

• Experience with monitoring tools

• Familiarity with virtual desktop infrastructure

• Familiarity with enterprise storage solutions

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Kanban, Lean, Theory of Constraints)

• Must have a collaborative mentality with an ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Ability to advise technicians, engineering designers or other technical support personnel as needed and recommended enterprise level system changes

• Evaluate factors such as reporting formats, cost constraints, and need for security restrictions to determine appropriate hardware and/or software configuration

• Experience ensuring DISA Secure Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) are understood and solutions are automated
