Director of Engineering | Omaha, NE. Supportworks, North America’s leader in foundation and concrete repair products, is searching for a Director of Engineering to guide our civil/structural team. This role blends technical leadership with strategic direction to shape the future of the industry. You will lead a team of engineers who develop and refine products, produce preliminary designs, empower customers through training and consultation, and help drive commercial success.

Hiring Bonus
:
One-time $10,000 hiring bonus, paid upon onboarding completion and per offer letter terms.

Omaha, NE (in-office presence required).

• Leadership & Team Development
  :
  Recruit, train, and manage top talent; set performance expectations; conduct reviews; create growth opportunities; align team to organizational goals and vision.
• Product Development
  :
  Research, evaluate, and innovate new product offerings; optimize existing offerings; collaborate to perform product testing; develop supporting documentation including evaluation reports.
• Technical Support, Resource Development, Training & Presentations
  :
  Provide technical expertise to the team and consult with customers on applications and solutions; create technical, sales, and marketing resources; deliver training and presentations to educate team, customers, engineers and specifiers.
• Commercial Services & Support Leadership
  :
  Develop and maintain relationships with customers; develop strategy and vision for commercial sales; meet or exceed annual revenue budget and department KPIs.

• Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) license(s) required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with 8+ years of relevant Geotechnical or Structural Engineering experience.
• Familiarity with soil mechanics, deep foundation design, and general knowledge of residential and commercial construction.
• Proven leadership with experience guiding engineering or technical teams and driving accountability.
• Technical expertise in product development and/or technical support; strong knowledge of residential and commercial building construction; proficiency in modeling software (AutoCAD, Inventor); expertise in steel and concrete.
• Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills to connect with team, customers, and external partners.
• Effective presentation and training delivery skills.
• Problem-solving ability with the capability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Willingness to travel occasionally across the U.S. and Canada.
