About the role

Bridges Trust is seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to deliver sophisticated, personalized wealth guidance to our clients. In this role, you’ll leverage your deep planning expertise, investment insight, and client-relationship skills to help individuals, families, and foundations achieve long-term financial success. As a key member of our Relationship Management team, you will shape strategy, elevate client experience, and contribute to the firm’s broader planning and investment initiatives.

What

you'll do
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, building strong, long‑term client relationships through proactive communication and expert guidance.
  • Lead the development and presentation of comprehensive financial plans—translating complex financial concepts into clear, actionable strategies.
  • Conduct advanced analyses, including cash‑flow modeling, retirement planning, tax‑efficient strategies, and portfolio allocations.
  • Continuously evaluate and adjust investment strategies to align with evolving client goals and market conditions.
  • Prepare high‑quality client presentations and reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal specialists across trust and estates, family office, philanthropy and investments to deliver an integrated wealth management experience.
  • Ensure all planning, documentation, and recommendations meet fiduciary, regulatory, and firm standards.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in financial planning or wealth management with a proven track record of delivering exceptional client outcomes.
  • Bachelor’s degree (finance/economics/business preferred).
  • CFP® certification (or progress towards it) required.
  • Series 65 license (or ability to obtain within 3 months).
  • Strong analytical abilities and comfort navigating complex financial scenarios.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a client‑first mindset.
  • Proficiency with eMoney, Salesforce, and portfolio reporting tools.
