. This full-time position is scheduled Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with flexibility in start times.

A Brief OverviewThe Revenue Cycle Systems Analyst manages and coordinates initiatives to optimize revenue cycle workflows and system functionality, identifies improvement opportunities, and collaborates with revenue cycle teams, clinical leaders, IT, vendors, and other stakeholders.
Essential Functions- Serves as the Revenue Cycle Expert, managing and coordinating initiatives to optimize workflows.
- Defines requirements for updating, changing, or implementing systems.
- Develops cross‑initiative integration plans across multiple systems and supports various applications.
- Participates in system analysis and revenue cycle projects, including implementation of new modules, upgrades, and integration of third‑party products.
- Researches industry best practices, technologies, and innovations to remain competitive, including RPA and AI solutions.
- Collaborates with the Revenue Cycle Management, Clinic, and IT teams on routine maintenance and short‑term objectives.
- Monitors and coordinates open tickets impacting revenue cycle.
- Plans, prepares, documents, and assists with application, integrated, and unit testing.
- Identifies opportunities to optimize workflow and processes, recommending improvements.
- Leads assigned revenue cycle projects to meet targets and due dates, ensuring alignment and implementation of flows.
- Attends work regularly.
- Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare administration, information systems, business, or a related field. Equivalent work experience acceptable.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in healthcare billing, collections, finance, registration, or IT.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Information Technology (preferred).
- Previous Epic application experience and certification (preferred).
- Comprehensive knowledge of hospital and clinic revenue cycle operations.
- Understanding of hospital and physician billing, collection, and reimbursement requirements.
- Knowledge of the current healthcare climate, managed care developments, HIPAA, and government regulations.
- Familiarity with CPT, HCPCS and revenue codes.
- Experience with healthcare EMR workflow, preferably Epic.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Visio and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must obtain job‑related certification within 9 months of hire and maintain it for the duration of employment.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel and Word required.
