Certified Nursing Assistant; CNA - Hospice - PRN Omaha, NE

Tabitha Home Health Care and Hospice, LLC - A Collaboration with Immanuel in Omaha, NE is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to work PRN as needed. This schedule includes a holiday rotation.

The Certified Nursing Assistant enhances the ability of Tabitha's Seniors/residents/clients to remain at home, living independently for as long as possible by providing personal care, emotional support, assistance with activities of daily living, and basic therapeutic care to Seniors/clients. While doing so, they will contribute to the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being of Seniors/clients through respectful, professional, competent and personable interaction.

This position is responsible for maintaining accurate records of Senior/client care.

• COMMUNICATION
  :
  Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the English language including medical terminology related to the job.
• PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  :
  Ability to gain access to the work area and then safely perform the duties of the job. Vision and hearing within normal limits (with or without correction). Must have unrestricted lift/push/pull ability of 50 - pounds, demonstrating strength and agility at Tabitha's discretion.
• AGE REQUIREMENT
  :
  At least age 16.
• EDUCATION
  :
  High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• EXPERIENCE
  : 6 months experience as an aide or caregiver preferred.
• Credentials
  : CNA certification in good standing as demonstrated by inclusion on the Nebraska State Registry required. MA-40 certification preferred. If utilizing MA-40 certification, CPR is required. All certifications must be kept up to date at the expense of the employee. Must meet Tabitha's vaccination requirements.
