Role:
This position works in the Intensive Outpatient Program and the outpatient clinics, based on your clinical interests. The Intensive Outpatient Program serves up to 24 adult patients in an outpatient setting suffering from co‑occurring disorders offering in‑person and telehealth services. This position will work on a team led by an addiction psychiatrist and psychiatric providers, other clinical therapists, nurses, and care staff all with experience in the assessment and treatment of substance use and other mental health disorders.
Our Intensive Outpatient Program utilizes an Evidence‑Based Curriculum, medication support, and individual and group mental health therapy.

Assesses patients' psycho‑social needs, diagnoses mental health conditions, and provides evidence‑based psychotherapy in collaboration with other members of the patient's health care team to reduce symptomatic behavior and facilitate adjustment to illness.
Required Qualifications- Minimum of one year of professional therapy/counseling and mental health care experience.
- PLMHP, LMHP, or LIMHP required.
- Master of social work degree from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accredited university required.
- Organizational and communication skills required.
- Experience with computers for access to patient information required.
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) using a combination of Certified Master of Social Work (CMSW) and Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) preferred.
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) using a combination of CMSW and Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (LMHP) preferred.
- Two years of professional therapy/counseling and mental health experience preferred {including substance use disorders}.
Provide evidence‑based counseling services (e.g., evaluation, diagnosis, consultation, and treatment) to patients within the psychiatric ambulatory setting for the purpose of preventing or eliminating symptomatic, maladaptive, or undesired behavior and/or facilitating adaptation to physical illness.
PsychotherapistRequired Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of practicum experience required.
- Master's degree from an accredited college in a human services program which provided preparation for profession counseling required.
- Organizational and communication skills required.
- Experience with computers for access to patient information required.
- Licensure as a mental health practitioner in the State of Nebraska upon hire or PLMHP with LMPH obtained upon completion of 3000 hours of supervised practice required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years of professional therapy/counseling and mental health experience preferred {including substance use disorders}.
