Companion- Omaha & Council Bluffs

Job Description

As a Companion, you’ll play a key role in improving the lives of our clients by offering non‑medical, hands‑on support. You’ll work under the supervision of a Care Coordinator and provide companionship, basic care, and essential daily assistance—while observing and documenting the client's condition and care.

• Offer friendly companionship and emotional support
• Help with dressing and undressing
• Assist with light housekeeping and laundry
• Change bed linens and maintain a clean living space
• Provide medication reminders
• Plan and prepare simple, nutritious meals
• Assist with feeding if needed
• Encourage social interaction and daily engagement
• Report any changes in client condition to our care team
• Document care provided in line with our standards

• Ability to read, follow instructions, and document care
• Compassionate and dependable with good hygiene
• Self‑motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
• Must pass a competency and skills test (80% or higher)
• Valid driver’s license and insured, reliable vehicle
• Completion of required caregiver training (we can help with that!)
• Must be at least 19 years old
• Must be able to pass a thorough background check
