Position SummaryPOSTING FOR UNMC EMPLOYEES ONLY
Provide direct, 1:1 assessment, treatment, and crisis intervention supports (e.g., behavioral therapy services) to children diagnosed with autism spectrum or related disorders. Provide first level of supervision to Associate Behavior Technicians and Registered Behavior Technicians and may assist in training and provide oversight in the progress of sessions. This position will lead day-to-day functions of assigned cases and provide first level drafts of patient related documentation and communications, under the supervision of a BCBA or BCBA
-D.
All behavioral therapy strategies and intervention components will occur through the implementation of a treatment plan that is prepared and directed by a BCBA or BCBA
-D/Licensed Psychologist.
This position may encounter potentially volatile care situations that could result in bodily harm.

Education:

Required Experience: 1 year implementing behavior analytic interventions in an education, instructional, or therapeutic setting.
Required License: Licensed as a Registered Behavioral Technician or ability to obtain a Registered Behavioral Technician license within 90 days of hire date.

- Ability to prepare for and collect data.
- Ability to enter data and update graphs using a computer program.

- Knowledge of basic behavioral principles and interventions.

Preferred Education: Psychology, Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related health care field.
