Dedicated In Home Caregiver

A Place At Home – Omaha/Papillion is seeking an exceptional, dependable, and professional caregiver to provide one-on-one care for a single individual in the comfort of her own home.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced caregiver who takes pride in their work, demonstrates maturity and sound judgment, and understands the importance of professionalism, discretion, and reliability.

A Place At Home – Omaha/Papillion is looking for someone who views caregiving as a professional responsibility, not simply a job.

• Pay: $17.00 per hour

• Schedule: Monday–Thursday

• Hours: 35.5 hours per week

• Location: Private residence, Omaha area

• Assignment: Consistent, one-on-one care for the same individual

• Monday: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM

• Tuesday: 8:30 AM – 9:30 PM

• Wednesday: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM

• Thursday: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM

• Attentiveness and Engagement: A caregiver who remains focused on the client's needs rather than personal distractions.

This position requires an individual who maintains professional boundaries, handles feedback constructively, demonstrates emotional maturity, and can be counted on to provide consistent, attentive care without unnecessary personal distractions.

Personal cell phone use must be kept to a minimum while on duty. Caregivers are expected to remain attentive and engaged with the client throughout their shift. Personal texting, scrolling through social media, watching videos, or spending time on personal phone calls while responsible for client care is not acceptable. Necessary work-related communication and urgent personal matters are exceptions.

We are looking for someone who understands that being physically present is not the same as being actively engaged in providing care.

• Ability to pass a criminal background screening.

• Acceptable driving record.

• Valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and reliable transportation.

• Excellent attendance and dependability.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to consistently work the entire posted schedule.

• Previous caregiving experience strongly preferred.

Unlike positions that require traveling between multiple clients, this opportunity allows you to build a meaningful, consistent working relationship with one individual while maintaining a regular weekly schedule.

Reliability, professionalism, maturity, and attentiveness are non-negotiable for this position.
