Overview

The Guest Service Associate/Valet is responsible for providing exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly and efficient manner. The Guest Service Associate is responsible for parking and retrieving guest vehicles in a prompt yet safe manner and assisting guests with luggage, including delivery and pick up of guest luggage (where applicable) during arrival and departure.

Responsibilities
  • Parks and retrieves vehicles in a safe and courteous manner
  • Assists guests with luggage, including delivery and pick up of guest luggage where applicable
  • Provides directions and information about the facility and local area
  • Gives attention to guest needs and maintains a pleasant, professional demeanor
  • Operates as part of Towne Park’s guest service team to deliver exceptional hospitality experiences

Compensation

Towne Park is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location. The hourly base pay range for this position is $14 per hour plus $4 - $6 per hour in tips.

Work Schedule

The potential work schedule for this position is weekdays, 2nd shift.

Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Required Licensure, Certification, Etc: A valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and be able to pass a criminal background and drug screen
  • Work Experience: One (1) month related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Skills: Ability to read and write standard English; ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; ability to write simple correspondence; ability to effectively present information; arithmetic skills; time systems; ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable; ability to perform parallel parking
