S4 Inc. has a Sr. Linux/Unix System Administrator position available who will be providing Information Technology services to USSTRATCOM in order to support its full range of enterprise services, including development, testing, and production environments.

• Perform system administration for enterprise Linux/Unix OS solutions.
• Install, configure, and maintain Linux/Unix OS operating systems.
• Analyze and resolve problems associated with the operating system's servers, hardware, applications, and software.
• Monitor system performance and ensure compliance with security standards.
• Monitor everyday systems, evaluate availability of all server resources, and perform all activities for Linux servers.
• Assist with configuring and deploying all virtual machines and install and provide backup to all configuration procedures.
• Maintain and monitor all patch releases, design various patch installation strategies, and maintain all systems according to program standards.
• Provide Tier 2 and 3 troubleshooting support, interfacing with end users and other technical teams from a service support perspective.

• Top Secret security clearance and eligible for SCI access
• Cloud+ or GICSP or SSCP or Security+ or GSEC certification required
• At least 8 years of experience installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux/Unix OS operating systems
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment with customers and staff
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• ITIL 4 Foundations;
  Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator;
  Linux Professional Institute Certification Linux Administrator;
  CompTIA Linux+;
  Oracle Certified Professional Oracle Linux System Administrator;
  Red Hat Certified Engineer;
  Oracle Certified Professional Solaris System Administrator;
  Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation

Salary: $95,000–$110,000 per year
