CACI is hiring an Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) in Omaha, Nebraska! Join our Air vehicle Planning System (APS) program, which provides Future Software Development Support for the Integrated Strategic Planning and Analysis Network (ISPAN) at United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM). APS is the largest and most complex planning system within MPAS. It is responsible for one third of the nuclear triad: aircraft and their associated weapons.
APS plans fully validated air vehicle missions down to the individual sortie level. It is a force-level mission planning system that performs planning functions in support of the nation's nuclear war plan.
- Create and maintain comprehensive security policies, standards, and procedures to protect information systems.
- Perform regular risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities within the organization’s information systems.
- Oversee the detection, reporting, and response to security incidents, including data breaches and cyber-attacks.
- Ensure that the organization complies with relevant laws, regulations, and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, NIST).
- Develop and conduct security awareness training programs for employees to promote a culture of security within the organization.
- Lead and manage security-related projects, including the implementation of new security technologies and systems.
- Conduct regular security audits and reviews to assess the effectiveness of security measures and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including IT staff, management, and external vendors, to ensure a unified approach to security.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date documentation of security policies, procedures, incident reports, and compliance records.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in information security.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), or equivalent.
