Apply comprehensive knowledge to plan and lead Service Now administration activities, including user management and system configuration. Evaluate system performance results and recommend improvements affecting platform success. Function as a technical expert in Service Now operations while supervising administrative staff. Manage complex integrations and customization requirements with organizational policies compliance.
- Administer and maintain the Service Now platform, ensuring stability and optimal performance.
- Configure and customize Service Now applications, workflows, and UI policies.
- Manage user access, roles, and permissions.
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and apply fixes promptly.
- Implement updates, patches, and upgrades in alignment with best practices.
- Support integrations with other enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures.
- A Bachelor’s Degree is required
- Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- A minimum of FIVE (5) years of hands‑on Service Now administration experience.
- Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD “SECRET” security clearance; candidates must obtain an approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.
- Strong understanding of Service Now core modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge).
- Familiarity with Service Now scripting (JavaScript, Glide API).
- Knowledge of data imports, reporting, and dashboards.
- Understanding of ITIL processes.
- Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Additional Service Now certifications (e.g., Implementation Specialist for ITSM).
- Candidates with an ACTIVE “SECRET” or higher-level clearance are preferred.
- Experience with advanced modules (ITOM, HRSD, CSM).
- Exposure to integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Knowledge of CMDB and asset management.
- Familiarity with Agile or Dev Ops practices.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms and security compliance.
The annual salary range for this position is $92,000.00-$. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
