Role: SAP Basis Administrator

Location:

Omaha, NE (Onsite)

Duration: 12+ Months

System Management

5‑8 years of SAP Core experience, at least 2 years of S4

HANA cloud experience, and at least 5 years of SAP Netweaver.

Installing, configuring, and maintaining SAP systems (including SAP Net Weaver and SAP HANA), including operating systems, databases, and application servers. Expertise with SAP RISE Model, administrator for BTP, and microservices.

Monitoring and Troubleshooting

Proactively monitoring system performance, identifying and resolving performance issues, and troubleshooting system errors.

User and Security Management

Managing user accounts, roles, and authorizations, ensuring proper access to SAP systems and data.

System Upgrades and Patches

Planning and executing system upgrades, applying patches, and ensuring the system is up to date.

Database Administration

Managing the SAP database (Oracle, Sybase, MS SQL), including performance tuning, backup and recovery, and data management.

Collaboration

Working with other IT teams, developers, and business users to support SAP systems and resolve issues.

Documentation

Maintaining system documentation, including configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong understanding of SAP Core Basis concepts and technologies.
• Experience with SAP system installation, configuration, and administration.
• Proficiency in database administration, including backup and recovery.
• Experience with SAP upgrades, patches, and system monitoring.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Any other general function of Basis Administrator not described above.
• Other infrastructure work that your manager asks you to do.
