The candidate will be supporting a WWT customer and will be employed by one of WWT’s preferred partners. The partner will provide full compensation and benefit information prior to employment with the partner.

A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this position is $60.00 to $63.00 hourly on W2. Actual pay will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs, and will be set by your employer. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in base pay.

World Wide Technology (WWT) is seeking a Dynatrace SME for a 6‑month contract position based in the USA, as part of our Strategic Resourcing Services and staff augmentation efforts.

In this role, the selected consultant will work directly with a WWT client, supporting their internal team and business objectives. While WWT facilitates the position, the consultant will be employed by one of WWT’s preferred partner organizations, which will provide complete details regarding compensation and benefits before employment.

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience with Dynatrace SaaS (required) implementation and configuration.
• Dynatrace skills:
  Grail – queries, Workflows, RUM, Site Reliability Guardian, SLO, business events, other Gen 3 UI features (not just classic).
• Strong proficiency in AWS infrastructure monitoring and Cloud Watch.
• Advanced Java development skills with focus on application performance monitoring.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise monitoring dashboards.
• Background in financial services technology preferred.

• Assess current monitoring and alerting configurations.
• Identify and report on coverage gaps, alert fatigue issues, and improvement areas.
• Develop and document a monitoring and alerting architecture standards.
• Map applications to services, infrastructure components, and dependent platforms.

• Implement end‑to‑end Dynatrace monitoring for the top 10 services, including:
• Synthetic transactions
• Real User Monitoring (RUM)
• Site Reliability Guardian and workflows
• Instrument Java applications and AWS‑hosted workloads (ECS, EKS).

• Configure alerts with defined thresholds and business impact criteria.
• Integrate alerts into Service Now for ticket creation and escalation.
• Implement automated remediation for repeatable failures using Terraform and Ansible.

• Build dashboards that provide visibility into business impacts when systems are degraded or during an outage.
• Tailor views for business, operations, and technical stakeholders.
