As a Security Operations Technician with Epic Hosting, you will be part of a SOC team that secures Epic's SaaS infrastructure for some of the largest healthcare organizations in the country. You’ll identify security events, coordinate investigations and responses across teams, and focus on long-term process improvements. Staying updated on emerging security threats to recommend and implement new security solutions is also essential.

Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring and analyzing security events using tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection, VPNs, and data loss prevention systems.
• Conducting log analysis, system and network auditing, and participating in security operations center activities.
• Possessing or pursuing security certifications such as GSEC, SSCP, ECSA, Security+ is advantageous.
• Having scripting skills (e.g., Power Shell), knowledge of access management, Active Directory, SIEM, MFA, and ITIL tools is beneficial.
• Relocating to Madison, WI (reimbursed) and eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• Availability for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift work.

As part of the Hosting team, your responsibilities include:

• Following policies and escalating issues appropriately.
• Escalating potential security incidents with relevant details.
• Upholding security responsibilities outlined in policies and procedures.
