Rate: $80/Hr.

• A Software Development Engineer designs, develops, tests, installs, and maintains systems, applications, networks, and/or telecom and related processes to meet the functional objectives of the business.
• Assesses system, application, network, and/or telecom needs, provides modeling and simulation consulting to clarify client technology functionality, and evaluates and implements new advanced technologies.
• Ensures adherence to established technology standards and consults with senior leadership on technology solutions.
• Supports existing systems and is responsible for leading technical aspects of a project.
• Responsible for assigning resources and delegating tasks to meet project deliverables.

• 10 years of related IT experience.
• 5 years development experience with Talend Data Integration module.
• 3 years of experience with Talend Administration Center, Data Quality, API Designer and Services, and Big Data Frameworks modules.
• 3 years of performance tuning experience of Talend.
• 2 or 3 years of Azure or AWS experience.
• Experience with database schema, object management, data modeling & architecture, and data warehouse design.
• Strong knowledge of Java programming and PL‑SQL.
• Experience with API integration (REST).
• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux and Shell script.
• Working knowledge of source-code control using a tool such as Git Lab.
• Experience with CI/CD and Dev Ops development using secure coding practices.
• Knowledge in emerging cloud technologies related to Big Data is a plus.
• Previous experience in Finance/Banking industry is a plus.
• Performs additional job duties as required.
