Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mainframe Developer to join our team in Omaha, NE. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in mainframe application development, with a primary focus on COBOL programming, DB2, and IMS database management. This position requires strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills.
Must‑Have Qualifications- Proficiency in COBOL for mainframe application development.
- Strong experience with IMS Database Management (DB/DC) and DB2.
- Advanced skills in Job Control Language (JCL) for job scripts and batch processing.
- Competency in SQL for database queries and optimization.
- Proficiency in Assembler programming.
- Familiarity with supply systems and the transportation domain ecosystem.
- Demonstrated mastery of mainframe development fundamentals.
- Proven ability to analyze complex systems and solve intricate problems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with teams and stakeholders.
- Independent debugging and issue resolution skills.
- Willingness to participate in monthly on‑call schedules to ensure system reliability.
- Strong commitment to delivering projects with zero defects and maintaining high production standards.
Base salary range: $80,000 – $100,000 plus incentives aligned with individual and company performance.
