Dev Ops Engineer
Location:
Omaha, Nebraska (Onsite)
Role Overview We are seeking a Systems/Dev Ops Engineer to support and enhance our cloud-based development and deployment ecosystem. This role will focus on designing, maintaining, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, managing Azure Dev Ops (ADO) environments, supporting build and release processes, and driving the organization's transition from Azure Dev Ops repositories to Git Hub. The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud infrastructure, automation, platform engineering, and modern software delivery practices.
Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and support CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient application delivery.
Administer and maintain Azure Dev Ops (ADO) environments, including repositories, pipelines, and build processes.
Support application build, deployment, and release management activities across multiple environments.
Lead and support migration efforts from Azure Dev Ops to Git Hub, including repository and pipeline modernization.
Automate infrastructure, deployment, and operational processes to improve reliability and scalability.
Troubleshoot and resolve build, deployment, and platform-related issues.
Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to implement Dev Ops best practices.
Monitor and optimize platform performance, availability, and deployment efficiency.
Required Qualifications
Experience with Azure Dev Ops, CI/CD pipeline development, and release management.
Strong understanding of build and deployment automation practices.
Experience supporting cloud-based environments, preferably Microsoft Azure.
Hands-on experience with source control platforms such as Git Hub and Git.
Knowledge of scripting and automation tools (Power Shell, Bash, Python, etc.).Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and modern platform engineering concepts.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications Experience migrating CI/CD processes from Azure Dev Ops to Git Hub Actions.
Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with cloud security, monitoring, and operational best practices.
