Job Title: Personal Lines Account Manager
Job Summary:
The Person al Lines Account Manager will provide quality service (and sales support when applicable) to all personal lines clients. This position includes assisting producers in managing a book of business, handling new and renewal marketing and placement, and guiding assigned assistants in servicing or marketing each account collaboratively, efficiently, and on time. The Account Manager is responsible for maintaining strong relationships between producers, clients, carriers, and agency personnel.

Process change requests accurately and promptly.
Follow up on requests submitted to carriers for completion and accuracy.
Keep producers informed of important account activities.
Monitor workload and notify management when additional support is needed.
Quote new personal lines business for producers using agency resources, technology, and carriers.
Remarket existing business as needed to meet client expectations.
Maintain strong collaboration with the service team to obtain quality quotes/remarkets.
Write all types of personal lines business while staying current with carriers and industry trends.
Process work in a timely manner while maintaining strong follow-up with carriers and underwriters.
Provide comprehensive attention to detail and documentation to support E&O standards.
Maintain accurate documentation/task management in the agency management system.
Negotiate with carrier underwriters and company personnel in a professional manner.
Maintain reliable attendance and timeliness.
Work effectively with others.
Perform other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum of two (2) years of insurance experience with extensive knowledge of personal lines coverage and carriers required.
Property & Casualty Insurance License preferred. If hired, must obtain and maintain a license.
Additional designations a plus.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
Experience with agency management system software.
Highly organized with strong time management skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and work under time constraints.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong ability to prioritize, work independently, and function in a team environment.
Problem-solving and negotiation skills.
Office attendance required; hybrid/remote schedule available after successful completion of training.
Occasional travel opportunities for professional development and industry training.
