We are seeking hard‑working, fully‑bilingual Karenni interpreters for in‑person interpretation services in the Omaha, Nebraska area. Join our exceptional team and help non‑English speakers in their community while enjoying flexible hours and great job satisfaction.

Requirements

• Fully bilingual in Karenni and English.

• Excellent communication and listening skills.

• Familiarity with medical terminology.

• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

• In‑person interpreters only; must have reliable transportation to attend appointments locally.

• Technical skills for learning/using the online portal (printing and uploading vouchers required); must have access to a printer.

• Interpreting experience and/or certification preferred.

• Background checks and drug screens required.

Schedule:

PRN (as needed), part‑time (or less depending on languages spoken) with flexibility based on interpreter availability; some availability Monday‑Friday 7 AM–5 PM is required, as this is when services are typically needed.

Independent contractor position
Hours are not guaranteed and are based on availability, languages spoken, and client needs.
