Litigation Associate – Construction Law
Woods Aitken LLP is hiring an associate with 3 to 5 years of litigation experience to join its construction law practice groups. The position is based in either the Omaha or Lincoln office, with periodic travel to the Denver office and other locations as part of the firm’s national litigation practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide litigation support for construction law matters.
- Represent clients in trials, pre‑trial discovery, examinations, and settlement negotiations.
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and develop case strategy.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of litigation experience, with trial experience preferred.
- Strong academic credentials, including outstanding research, writing, problem‑solving, critical‑thinking, and communication skills.
- Licensed to practice law in Nebraska or ability to obtain a Nebraska law license in the near future. Additional licensures are a plus.
