A highly respected and established law firm in Omaha is seeking a skilled Litigation Paralegal to join their accomplished legal team. Position Summary:
The ideal Litigation Paralegal will have experience handling civil litigation matters from case inception through trial. The position requires a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced setting and is comfortable juggling multiple priorities with precision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive support to attorneys throughout all phases of the litigation process
- Draft, review, and organize legal documents including pleadings, discovery, and correspondence
- Manage case files, deadlines, and calendars
- Assist with trial preparation including exhibit lists, trial notebooks, and witness coordination
- Perform legal research and summarize findings
- File documents with state and federal courts using electronic filing systems
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal or in a similar legal support role
- Familiarity with court rules, procedures, and filing requirements
- Strong proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills
- Paralegal certificate or relevant academic background preferred
