Job Summary:
Accounts Receivable Manager leads the AR team in a dynamic, detailed and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing receivables in industries with diverse billing terms and invoicing requirements. This role is responsible for overseeing the entire accounts receivable process, ensuring timely collections, accurate invoicing, and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead and manage the accounts receivable team, providing guidance, training, and performance management
- Oversee the end-to-end AR process, including invoicing, collections, cash application, and dispute resolution
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and customer service teams to resolve billing issues and improve processes
- Monitor aging reports and proactively manage delinquent accounts to minimize bad debt
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize cash flow and reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding)
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and reporting purposes
- Prepare regular AR reports and metrics for senior management
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the AR function
- Utilize SAP to manage AR processes and reporting
- Assist with special projects, as needed

- Consistently demonstrate dependable attendance and timeliness completing all work responsibilities

- Leads, mentors, trains, and develops team; fosters accountability and professional growth
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business or if non-degreed minimum of 2 years AR Supervisor or manager experience
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive accounting experience
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisor experience
- ERP experience required; SAP experience preferred
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and AR best practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficient in ERP systems
- Understanding with international billing and multi-currency transactions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills
- Proven experience in a fast-paced industry with diverse billing structures
- Detailed oriented and able to meet deadlines in a fast pace environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with working with numerical data
- Strong analytical skills
