F Street - Boxroom Team Leader

Job Summary

Performs all duties in the area of box forming and storage. Must be capable of operating box forming equipment and cleaning equipment. Moves finished boxes to the processing areas or storage areas. Directs, trains and controls work of other team members in the box room area. Communicates with team members and supervisor and provides input on performance.

Team Lead-level jobs at Omaha Steaks require the ability to coordinate daily tasks, support team collaboration, and serve as a point of contact for both team members and supervisors. You must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and a proactive mindset. You should lead by example, take initiative to solve problems, and contribute to a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

You must drive daily execution through technical expertise and collaboration, influencing team performance and contributing to a culture of excellence by supporting peers and offering input on performance feedback.

• Operates box forming equipment; stacks boxes on pallets or in containers; checks for quality of boxes.
• Moves boxes into processing area or storage by forklift or pallet jack.
• Gives direction to other team members in the box room area. Assigns Box Room personnel tasks received from supervisor. Monitors and documents team member performance.
• Adjusts machine as needed and changes machine to run various boxes.
• Cleans and maintains box-forming equipment.
• Provides on-the-job training for the box room area, ensuring that accurate training is delivered and motivational techniques are used to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Meets expectations for attendance and punctuality.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year box room experience, knowledge of production methods and policies
• Must be able to operate a forklift and pallet jack; and forklift certified.
• Must be capable of operating box forming equipment and cleaning equipment.
• Ability to maintain mental awareness while performing duties of a repetitive nature.
• Manual dexterity and eye/hand coordination are required in all aspects of performing the job.
• Good communication skills and leadership skills.
• Ability to speak and write fluently in English.
