3FM is looking for a dependable Production Associate who is organized, motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment. This position is well suited for someone who takes pride in producing quality work, works well with others, and is willing to learn new equipment, materials, and production methods.
The Production Associate performs a wide variety of tasks related to signage manufacturing, digital printing, finishing, assembly, packaging, and general production operations. You will work with the production team to complete projects accurately and on schedule while helping maintain an efficient, safe, and organized shop.
Job duties include:- Finish produced graphics and signage through mounting, laminating, cutting, trimming, and related processes
- Operate and perform routine maintenance on large-format printers, laminators, plotters, and other production equipment
- Operate metal shears, punches, and other shop tools and equipment
- Assist with signage fabrication and assembly as needed
- Prepare, package, and organize signage for installation or shipment
- Follow project specifications, drawings, work orders, and production instructions
- Learn and apply product, material, and equipment knowledge
- Inspect completed work for accuracy, quality, and conformance with project requirements
- Track and organize materials, parts, products, and production consumables
- Receive, organize, and ship materials and finished products
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production area, including tools, equipment, materials, and workstations
- Communicate with team members regarding workflow, priorities, deadlines, and project requirements
- Attend and participate in team meetings as needed
- Assist with other production activities as workload and project needs require
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Dependable, accountable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new processes, materials, tools, and equipment
- Ability to receive feedback and apply it constructively
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to safely lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs. independently, and heavier or oversized materials with assistance as needed.
- Experience with large-format printers, laminators, plotters, or similar production equipment
- Experience with CNC equipment, fabrication equipment, or specialized shop tools
- Experience with signage, graphics production, fabrication, manufacturing, or a related field
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools and equipment
- Flexibility to work overtime when project schedules require it
