SHIPPING CLERK - $2,000 HIRING BONUS OVERALL SUMMARYThis position is responsible for all aspects of shipping material goods from the warehouse while providing customer service to both internal and external customers.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS- Prepare and pack orders for shipment.
- Assembles orders, while checking against shipping or customer order; reports shortages and incomplete orders.
- Select appropriate shipping containers and packing material. Operates standard manual and automatic equipment.
- Stack shipments on skids and transfer shipments to shipping dock.
- Expedite and Monitor Aftermarket shop orders through production to ensure timely completion and on time delivery to customer.
- Proactively contact vendors to keep abreast of outstanding aftermarket purchase orders in order to expedite to meet or exceed promised delivery dates.
- Provides customer service; in person, over the phone, and in writing to both internal and external customers.
