Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – Omaha, NE

Job Summary and Responsibilities
  • Full‑time schedule at Psychiatric Associates (Immanuel) outpatient clinic, Monday–Friday 7 am–5 pm with some flexibility.
  • Weekend inpatient rounding rotations as needed.
  • Conduct new‑patient evaluations, diagnose, treat, and manage mental‑health conditions in adults and adolescents.
  • Work independently while collaborating with a supervising psychiatrist.
  • Part of a fully supported team model that includes psychiatrists, therapists, and registered nurses.
  • Receive ongoing mentorship and support through the PMHNP program.

Job Requirements
  • Certified by the ANCC or AANP as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
  • Ability to work with both adult and adolescent populations.
  • Current Nebraska and Iowa licensure.
  • Valid Nebraska and Iowa DEA registration.
  • BLS certification.
