Registered Nurse – Local Traveler (PRN)

Good Samaritan is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide high‑quality care across multiple locations within a 150‑mile radius of a permanent address in Omaha, NE.

• GSS NE Omaha Millard Ctr – 12856 Deauville Dr, Omaha, NE 68137

• Shift: 8‑hour varied shifts (PRN)

  Varies – Minimum 30 hours per month
• One weekend shift per month

• Salary: $32.00 – $48.00 per hour
• Premium pay: $5.00 per hour on all hours worked
• Weekend shift differential: $1.25 per hour
• Evening/night shift differential (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM): $1.25 per hour

• Travel required to support multiple locations within a 150-mile radius
• Mileage reimbursement provided

The RN utilizes the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, coordination of care, resident education, and collaboration with interdisciplinary colleagues. The RN may serve as charge nurse, delegate tasks within scope, and ensure safe, reliable administration of resident care.

• 3 months experience in Long Term Care (6 months preferred)
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Unencumbered RN license in the State of practice; multistate licensure acceptable for NLC states
• Graduate from nationally accredited nursing program preferred (CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA);
  Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
