Perioperative and Clinical Nurse – Plastic Surgery Clinic

We are seeking an ambitious and energetic nurse to join our busy Plastic Surgery team at a new, modern, private practice in Omaha, NE. This position offers a dynamic work environment with responsibilities spanning the clinic, operating room (OR), perioperative and recovery areas, and occasional administrative support. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, detail-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional patient care.

• 2+ years perioperative experience
• Personable and ability to keep a polished and professional attitude

• Provide patient education and counseling before and after surgical procedures.
• Prepare patients for surgery, including taking vital signs and reviewing medical histories.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, including monitoring recovery, administering medications, and assessing patient progress.
• Respond to patient calls and provide appropriate medical advice or escalated concerns as necessary.
• Assist with scheduling patient appointments.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Assist with ordering and stocking medical supplies for the clinic and operating room.
• Occasionally assist with patient billing or insurance-related tasks.

• Current nursing license in the state of Nebraska.
• BLS/ACLS certification.
• Previous experience in surgical or ambulatory care.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
