You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and serve as a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support daily operations, including donor eligibility, adverse event management, lab test review, and donor notification of unsuitable results.

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, AIDS education, self‑exclusion, medical history interview, physical examination, blood testing, and reviewing serological protein electrophoresis (SPE).
• Evaluate donor reactions and follow SOPs for medical emergencies, including development of the Center Physician’s standing orders and donor transport to emergency facilities.
• Refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs for unacceptable findings or medical/technical guidance, including donor safety and eligibility.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for staff.
• Manage employee incidents and determine further evaluation procedures, referencing EHS guidance.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations of pandemic threats within the local community.

• High school diploma or equivalent, including graduate degree from a state‑approved nursing program.
• Current licensed or certified in the state of assignment: LPN or LVN.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy.
• Complete FDA‑approved training for the Bio Life Medical Support Specialist role.
• At least two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

• Hourly wage range: $23.85 – $32.79.
• Medical/dental, vision, short‑term and long‑term disability coverage; 401(k) with company match.
