Nebraska Spine Hospital is a physician-owned specialty hospital focused on providing exceptional surgical spine care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. Our specialized model allows our team to focus on what we do best while providing high-quality care and an exceptional experience for our patients and their families.

We are seeking a Weekend Night RN to join our Inpatient Services team. This position is designed for an RN who values a consistent, predictable schedule while earning premium compensation.

The position requires a commitment to working Friday and Saturday night shifts and includes a Weekend Commitment Differential in addition to the RN’s base hourly rate. The enhanced differential is specifically tied to the commitment to the Friday and Saturday night schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Assess patient’s status at intervals according to facility or health care organization policies and procedures to include the
  • cardiovascular system,
  • respiratory system and airway management needs,
  • neurological system,
  • hemodynamic stability,
  • pain and comfort needs, and
  • mental status.
• Interpret information accurately from various noninvasive and invasive monitors.
• Describe the underlying pathophysiology of commonly encountered disease processes.
• Describe the physiology associated with various anesthesia techniques and surgical or procedural interventions.
• Develop an individualized plan of care.
• Develop an individualized patient plan of care by implementing:
  • Protecting patient from injury caused by positioning, thermal sources, and extraneous objects.
