Licensed Practical Nurse; LPN; Per-Diem

Pay Range: $24.00-$32.00 per hour (based on experience)

Mercy Convent, home to the Sisters of Mercy, is seeking compassionate and dependable LPN to join our team. This role provides direct care to the Sisters and oversees caregivers during assigned shifts to ensure high-quality, mission-aligned service.

• Provide direct nursing care per care plan and physician orders
• Supervise and support caregivers during assigned shifts
• Complete assessments, vitals, documentation, and medication administration
• Respond promptly to Sisters' needs and any changes in condition
• Maintain a safe, clean environment; follow all safety and infection-control protocols
• Communicate clearly with the DON/RCA, team members, and Sisters
• Assist with admissions, transfers, incident reporting, and chart updates

• Active LPN license
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership abilities
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 75 lbs and meet general physical demands
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• management, and dementia care; strong, assessment, communication, and documentation, skills; ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary, team; experience in assisted living, long-term, care, skilled nursing, or memory care preferred.
