• RN's exam:
  Pass/Fail exam on Friday during orientation requiring a 90% to pass.

  Patient Ratios: 1:4, 1:3 for post-surgical patients in the first 24 hours.
• Charge Nurse:
  Yes, but rare to take assignment.
• Weekend Requirements:
  Every other weekend.

  Experience:
  
  Experience with intermediate care, downgraded CVICU patients, thoracic program support, EP, cath lab, structural heart, and management of cardiac and vascular related diagnoses.
• Required Skills:
  
  Ability to titrate drips, read and interpret telemonitor strips. Common titratable drips include Amio, nitro, nicardipine, epi, cardizem, and other blood pressure medications.
• Shift & Scheduling:
  Manager does schedule; 12-hour shifts.
• Dress Code:
  Navy Blue.
• Floating Requirements:
  Will float to all same level and lower levels of acuity.
• Charting System: EPIC.
