Overview

Richdale Apartments is a leading property management company dedicated to providing luxury multi-family communities while striving to cultivate a fun, productive and exciting work environment where hard work is recognized and rewarded. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Recovery Specialist to join our team.

As a Recovery Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the collection of unpaid rent and fees from residents who have vacated our managed communities. You will work closely with property managers, legal counsel and other team members to resolve outstanding balances and maintain accurate financial records.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for reviewing and researching former resident disputes and follow through to ensure resolution
  • Responsible for contacting former residents to collect on outstanding balances, establishing payment plans and negotiate settlements
  • Responsible for meeting monthly collection goals
  • Maintain detailed records of all interactions and payments
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions and concerns using good interpersonal skills, ensuring that a positive, professional demeanor is projected through verbal and written communications

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in collections, property management or a related field is preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, goal oriented and confidence in making independent decisions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong research skills
