Position Summary

  • Provides overall management and coordination of research activities in the laboratory.
  • Manages and conducts research activities for the laboratory which may include experimental design and execution, data analysis and interpretation, and supervision of laboratory personnel.
  • Responsible for assisting with developing protocols and regulatory documents in collaboration with the Principal Investigator.
  • Develops, implements, and maintains laboratory manual and standard operating procedures. Ensures consistency in methods and execution, data management and documentation across all studies and projects in the laboratory.
  • Summarizes and writes for publication or presentation the results of research projects, often as co-author or author.
  • Manages laboratory and grant expenditures.
