Responsibilities

• Perform basic or applied research of a limited scope, primarily using existing theories and methods.
• Assist in the interpretation and publication of results and grants.
• Assist in initiating, executing, and completing research and experiments.
• Prepare and write research papers, presentations, grant proposals, etc.; primary responsibility is ensuring that the research is complete.
• Perform a variety of tests requiring a high degree of proficiency.
• Evaluate experimental results using complex statistical and multivariate analysis.

Qualifications

• Graduate school degree with significant research experience in cell and molecular biology, immunology, asthma, or cancer would be considered.
• 5+ years of research lab experience.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Strong ability to interpret data and troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on research needs.
