Responsibilities
- Perform basic or applied research of a limited scope, primarily using existing theories and methods.
- Assist in the interpretation and publication of results and grants.
- Assist in initiating, executing, and completing research and experiments.
- Prepare and write research papers, presentations, grant proposals, etc.; primary responsibility is ensuring that the research is complete.
- Perform a variety of tests requiring a high degree of proficiency.
- Evaluate experimental results using complex statistical and multivariate analysis.
Qualifications
- Graduate school degree with significant research experience in cell and molecular biology, immunology, asthma, or cancer would be considered.
- 5+ years of research lab experience.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Strong ability to interpret data and troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on research needs.
