This position entails both scientific and administrative responsibilities for the Roy Lab.
Responsibilities- Independently conduct a variety of sophisticated experiments using novel techniques and equipment.
- Ensure that laboratory experiments are completed to meet protocol aims while following current guidelines.
- Assist the PI with publications, experimental design, and scientific approach development.
- Present experimental data at departmental, collaborator, national, and regional meetings.
- Supervise laboratory personnel, including medical students, graduate students, residents, and clinical fellows.
- Handle logistical considerations for experiments, such as inventory management, ordering, and biosafety compliance.
