Food Service - Kitchen Assistant​/Cashier; BW

Overview

Applications are being accepted for a 4 hour per day Kitchen Assistant position at Bellevue West High School. Duties include assisting with food preparation, serving (including replenishing the food line as needed), operating a cash register, cleaning the kitchen area, processing student lunch tickets, and maintaining food service records.

Location:

Bellevue West High School, Bellevue, NE. Duty hours are typically Monday through Friday from 10:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.

Role:
Food Service - Kitchen Assistant/Cashier (BW). This position is subject to a veterans preference and requires lifting at least 40 pounds. Applicants should be able to regularly attend to the duties of the position for the duration of the assignment.

• Assist with food preparation and serving, including replenishing the food line as needed
• Operate a cash register and process student lunch tickets
• Clean the kitchen area and maintain food service records

• Ability to lift at least 40 pounds
• Not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of self or others, with or without reasonable accommodations
• Capability to regularly attend to duties for the duration of the assignment
• Position may be subject to veterans preference
