KITCHENPRODUCTION ASSISTANT—CONTRACT MEAL KITCHEN - 10 month - Part-Time
DEPARTMENT:Nutrition Services
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Multiple Tasks Includebutarenotlimitedto :
- Kitchen Food Preparation and Production
- Beabletouse allkitchenequipmentnecessaryforpreparationoffood
- Must be able maintain consistent and accurate counting of portions, portion sizing, and related accounting of food production
- Cleaningofkitchenandequipmentasrequired
- Beabletocarrycasesoffood,beverages,papergoodsandpreparedfood
- Abilitytoworkwithschoolstaff,students,and community
- Otherdutiesasassigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
REQUIRED
- Previous experience in food service and food production
- Abilitytocommunicatewellwithothers
- Abilitytotakedirectionfrom Kitchen Manager
- Knowledgeandabilityofcleaningkitchenandpreparationoffood
- Strong counting skills
PREFERRED
- Knowledgeandunderstandingofthe Federal School Breakfast and Lunch Program requirementsandregulationsincluding:
- Offervs.
Serve - Qualificationsforareimbursablemeal
- Knowledgeofportionsizesandproperkitchenprocedures
- Serve Safe Certified in food handling
- Experience in quantity food production
- Offervs.
