Sigvaris is currently looking for a Territory Manager to join our Sales team. As a leading compression solution provider, we are not just a company that manufactures products. We are a global team on a mission to help people feel their best. The Territory Manager is responsible for increasing sales in an assigned geographical area (based on state lines and/or zip codes).

This is accomplished by establishing and fostering positive relationships with key customers, both retail and physicians, in an effort to build and strengthen both their business and the SIGVARIS brand.

This position is remote, but you must live within the territory and you must live near a major airport.

This position has travel requirements of 20-40%; some overnight.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maximize sales of all SIGVARIS products in the assigned geographical territory.
  • Identify key physicians, customers, hospitals/IDNs/Medical Centers/VAs.
  • Identify and be knowledgeable of all competitors and their products.
  • Develop and utilize a structured itinerary/zone plan for travel.
  • Effectively meet with key decision makers.
  • Effectively use necessary and available forms of virtual communication with customers and colleagues.
  • Enter detailed call activity into sales application tools.
  • Run and analyze sales reports to identify trends in territory.
  • Run searches to identify new customers (dealers/physicians).
  • Keep abreast of all compression reimbursements as it relates to State and regional insurance plans.
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, merchandising techniques, etc.
  • Resolve customer complaints to the mutual benefit of both the company and the customer by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
  • Actively participate in medical conventions and/or trade shows when and where needed.
  • Prepare and submit weekly Planning and Activities report to the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Maximize cost savings and demonstrate fiduciary responsibility to ensure expenses are below budget.
  • Demonstrate effective presentation or platform skills.
  • Foster positive morale among staff, by promoting open communication with all departments, to help create and maintain an innovative and cooperative staff relationship and environment.
  • Interact with external and internal customers in a timely manner conducive to continued positive relationships.
  • Display patience, courtesy and tact; demonstrate flexibility, enthusiasm and willingness to cooperate while working with others or in place of others as necessary.
  • Keep Regional Sales Managers and/or appropriate management staff informed of developments affecting their functions.
  • Respond quickly to all oral and written communications.
  • Maintain and encourage an open line of communication with both internal and external customers.
  • Check and respond to voicemail messages in a timely manner.
  • Accurately and legibly present written data to affected internal/external customers.
  • Proficient at using MS Teams, Zoom, and similar platforms to reach customer base and call points as necessary.
  • Follow established company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with SIGVARIS policies, industry standards, ISO 13485 standards, and Federal, State and local laws.
  • Follow all work instructions, create and maintain accurate records to meet all internal and external requirements to support the SIGVARIS Quality System and Quality Policy.
  • Accurately perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned to ensure an efficient workflow.
Requirements EDUCATION and WORK EXPERIENCE
  • Must have a bachelor's degree.
  • A minimum of two years of experience as a field sales representative, preferably with detailing pharmacies, doctors and retail establishments.
  • B2B experience highly preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Must have a vehicle that meets the Auto Allowance policy standards; must be able to do 20% to 40% overnight travel depending on territory size.
  • Must be able to lift and manage a rolling detail bag as well as set up displays at select customer sites.
