Join Syneos Health in partnership with a leading oncology diagnostics company as an Oncology Sales Specialist!
The Oncology Sales Specialist (OSS) serves as the primary customer owner and contact for all assigned accounts within their territory. The OSS is responsible for calling on all stakeholders within their territory such as ENT’s, Radiation Oncologists and care team members. This role is responsible for identifying opportunities to expand share of care and acquisition of new customers in the HNSCC community in support of an exciting diagnostic product launch.
The OSS is responsible for the entire sales process for their assigned accounts and for operating their territory within their given operating budget.
- Achieve annual sales goals through efficient management and satisfaction of customer needs within assigned territory.
- Own the entire sales process for assigned accounts.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers in accounts.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop strategies for account growth.
- Develop and maintain territory coverage plan with sales management.
- Provide routine service to key assigned accounts.
- Properly sell and support utilization of key product as directed.
- Communicate regularly with all members of assigned territory team.
- Perform product in‑service training to ensure customer satisfaction as needed.
- Provide frequent market feedback on customer, product, competition and market conditions to sales management.
- Develop and maintain territory specific information relative to competitors and distributors in the market.
- Develop, maintain and deliver accurate information on lost business.
- Achieve goals for product sales; maintain consistent momentum in sales cycle; self‑disciplined and self‑directed; overcome obstacles; maintain high work ethic; create sales opportunity.
- Bachelor’s degree required (MBA preferred).
- 5+ Years Life Science Sales experience in Med Device, Diagnostics or Pharmaceutical.
- 2+ Years recent experience selling to ENT/Otolaryngologists, or experience in Oncology, Diagnostics or related areas.
- Oncology diagnostics experience strongly preferred.
- Consistent track record of documented sales accomplishments.
- Proficient with MS Office programs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to travel as required by role (50%-75% of the time); some overnight travel may be required.
The annual compensation range for this position ranges from $200,000 to $235,000. The range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Some positions may include a company car or car allowance and eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and/or individual performance.
