Job Summary

As a Technology Account Manager at IP Pathways, you are responsible for developing strategic solutions to present to IP Pathways' prospects. Your overall focus areas will be in prospecting, developing business, developing proposals for presentation to potential new customers, and selling products and services. You will utilize your excellent relationship building, negotiating, and presentation skills to be successful in this role.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a results‑driven Technology Account Manager to join our sales team. This role is responsible for building strong client relationships, identifying opportunities to expand existing accounts, and driving new business growth. The Technology Account Manager will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring they maximize value from IP Pathways’ solutions while consistently achieving new revenue targets.

  • Conduct prospecting activities including cold calling, email outreach, networking, and social selling to generate qualified leads.
  • Qualify client needs to determine fit for IP Pathways’ products and services.
  • Leverage a consultative sales approach to uncover business challenges and deliver tailored solutions through quotes, proposals, and presentations.
  • Proactively identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within assigned markets or territories.
  • Manage and grow relationships with existing clients, expanding revenue through cross‑sell and up‑sell opportunities.
  • Partner with internal teams (solution architect, client success, and leadership) to deliver tailored technology solutions that align with client needs.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and accurate forecasting using CRM tools.
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to position IP Pathways as a trusted advisor.
  • Represent IP Pathways at client meetings, trade shows, and networking events.
Job Requirements
  • Manage and develop designated sales territory, driving growth and new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate effectively with senior internal stakeholders and cross‑functional teams to support the sales process, while maintaining direct engagement with clients.
  • Operate independently with minimal day‑to‑day direction, receiving general guidance on new assignments and priorities.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, proactively contributing to sales team success and influencing positive business outcomes.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously while actively prospecting and developing new opportunities.
Education and Experience
  • 1 to 3 years of sales experience is preferred.
  • Experience selling in a B2B capacity.
  • Comfortable working with longer sales cycles.
  • Previous experience closing potentially large deals.
  • Previous experience using a CRM and working a sales pipeline.
