Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer - Tech Media Patrols in Omaha, NE
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part‑Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic tech and media location, help deter security‑related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service to all visitors and staff.
Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $18.80 / Hour

- Provide customer service to clients by following security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and in a problem‑solving manner to help maintain order.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or security‑related concerns found during patrols.
- Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as required in response to incidents.
- Document all activities, incidents, and irregularities according to site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation per federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories consistent with applicable laws.
- Subject to a drug screen as permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state/local regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license is required only for driving positions.
