Security Officer

Job Summary and Responsibilities

Eligible Sign on Bonus $1500 for full time positions. Speak to a recruiter regarding incentive eligibility, requirements and restrictions for new hire employees and current employees accepting a promotion.

• Conduct Initial investigations and appropriate follow-up for security incidents and write a security 360 report documenting all findings.
• Conduct proactive foot and vehicle patrols of the entire campus to include all floors and buildings.
• Respond to all radio calls for a variety of services to include but not limited to: escorts, property pick-up, disturbances, standby’s and code calls.
• Stay current on all required training to include CPI, PPCT and required computer courses. Receive mandatory flu shot annually.
• Be able to view cameras and save footage.
• Be able to run the C-cure program to include giving clearances and locking of doors.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions with team members, visitors and patients. Follow department dress code.
• Have the ability to deescalate and maintain control in security situations.

• High School or Equivalent.
• BLS is required within 90 days.
• Current driver's license.

• High School diploma, some college preferred.
• Previous Security, Military or law enforcement experience.
• First aid.

$18.06 - $25.51 /hour
