• General police and facility security work including enforcement of applicable laws, rules and regulations and enforcement of TSA security directives.
• Enforce public relations responsibility to the interest and needs of the general public.
• Capable of using sound judgment in both routine and emergency situations.
• Maintain proper log books, reports and forms to record events and investigations that occur while on duty.
• Maintain traffic flow on airport roadways and issue citations when appropriate.
• Provide security for passengers and airline personnel in accordance with TSA guidelines.

• Certificate of Completion from the Nebraska Law Enforcement Academy or completion of the newly revised reciprocity program to become Nebraska certified.
• Weapons certification required.
• Pass and maintain departmental and physical fitness requirements.
• High School graduate or equivalent and ability to read and write English.
• Valid Nebraska or Iowa Driver’s License.
• Verifiable good work record and ability to successfully complete pre-employment physical exams with correctable 20/20 vision.
• Pass a security background check.
