As a Carpenter with Ideal Construction, you’ll bring plans to life and help create structures that stand the test of time. Your day might include:

• Metal & wood stud framing (walls, ceilings, soffits, bulkheads)
• Framing door and window openings
• Installing wood/clad/vinyl windows
• Installing interior and exterior doors of all types
• Siding, trim, and soffit removal/installation
• Deck layout and installation
• Stair layout, fabrication, and installation
• Assessing and repairing damaged framing
• Wood fencing installation
• Reading and interpreting blueprints
• Operating hand tools, power tools, lasers, levels, and more
• Working under deadlines while maintaining high-quality workmanship
• Communicating clearly with your supervisor, project manager, customers, and teammates
• Representing Ideal Construction in a professional, positive manner
• Maintaining a clean, safe workspace

We’re searching for motivated individuals who:

• Have a valid driver’s license
• Can lift/move up to 100 lbs.
• Can climb ladders and work an 8-hour day / 40-hour week (sometimes more)
• Are reliable, punctual, and committed to quality
• Work well with others (gossip-free zone!)
• Have strong attention to detail
• Are self-starters who take initiative
• Take pride in cleanliness and jobsite organization
• Want to grow with a company that’s growing, too

A 60-day probationary period allows us to evaluate work ethic, ability, attendance, and craftsmanship - and gives you a chance to show us what you can do.
