Clearance and Licensure

• Clearance Requirement:
  Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and may meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information;
  Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret SCI clearance.
• License/Certification Requirement:
  Applicants selected are required to hold a Journeyman License OR EPA 608 Universal License OR have equivalent verifiable military service training hours/experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal performance and reliability of electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment within the Campus.
• Perform planned preventative maintenance, address daily corrective tasks, and respond to emergencies to minimize downtime.
• Act as technical expert, report to the Program Manager, collaborate with Onsite Engineering Operations (OEO) and third-party vendors, and serve as the primary contact for facility operations.
• Maintain uptime of campus equipment supporting servers % where applicable.
• Assist CET3/4 technicians with CET3 classified procedures as needed.
• Record maintenance activities in CMMS and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Read blueprints, floor plans, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and job specifications.
• Use hand tools and test equipment to install, troubleshoot, and repair parts according to specifications and safety guidelines.
• Understand and operate: MV/LV distribution, UPS, generators, batteries, BMS/EPMS systems, HVAC units, chillers, and related fire and control systems.
• Maintain site procedures, incident/outage reporting, PM standards, and access procedures to CE procedures and training content.
• Identify materials and parts needed for maintenance and repairs; assist in procurement as required.
• Maintain records as required by City, State, and EPA regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 6+ years of experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret SCI clearance.
• Journeyman License OR EPA 608 Universal License OR equivalent military service training hours/experience.

Physical and work environment

• The position requires lifting up to 50 pounds, working at heights up to 60 feet, and various physical tasks as described in the responsibilities.
