Apply for the Maintenance Technician role at Place maker Properties. Join our dedicated team to maintain high-quality residential and commercial properties across the community.
Base pay: $22.00/hr - $24.00/hr.
Responsibilities- Assist in maintaining the condition and upkeep of residential properties, ensuring safety and functionality.
- Perform preventive maintenance: inspect facilities (buildings, HVAC, roof, ventilation, pools, etc.).
- Communicate regularly with management and residents.
- Conduct structural repairs in masonry, woodwork; drywall; painting.
- Repair minor plumbing, HVAC, and electrical issues.
- Replace or install home appliances and perform general appliance repair.
- Maintain pool cleanliness and perform basic maintenance.
- Maintain parking areas, provide minor snow removal, and conduct lawn care.
- Complete unit turnovers: documentation, lock changes, charge recordings, and coordinate with residents.
- Utilize bulk ordering, maintain inventory, prioritize urgent tasks, and handle cost control.
- Adhere to lock‑out/tag‑out procedures and other safety protocols.
- Proper hazardous material disposal and compliance with regulations.
- Participate in call/after‑hours rotation as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, power washer, lift equipment, and ladders.
- Valid driver's license and safe vehicle operation.
- Excellent communication skills; professional interaction with residents and coworkers.
- Knowledge of plumbing repairs (valves, tub/shower diverters, cartridges, drain cleaning).
- Basic electrical knowledge (voltage testing, breaker reset, fixture replacement).
- Ability to safely perform physical tasks, lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, climb, and use a computer.
- Familiarity with federal, state, and local fair housing laws and safety regulations.
- Must perform job duties with safety equipment and PPE as required.
- Adhere to lock‑out/tag‑out and hazardous material handling procedures.
- Possible on‑site presence at assigned job sites.
